Visit MagSense 2026: iC-Haus Presents Next-Generation Energy Harvesting Multiturn Encoder SoC
Join iC-Haus at the inaugural MagSense 2026 conference, taking place on Sep. 16–17, 2026, in Jena, Germany, where our expert, Dr. Steffen Klupsch, will present the latest advances in energy-harvesting multiturn encoder technology.

With the iC-PME, iC-Haus introduces a highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC) for multiturn encoders. Its energy-harvesting concept is based on the Wiegand effect. A dedicated Wiegand wire enables fully energy-autonomous multiturn detection using the magnetic operating principle, without the need for a mechanical gear or backup battery. This next-generation SoC offers a novel approach to implementing robust, maintenance-free, and compact multiturn functionality, even in the smallest installation spaces and for hollow-shaft applications.
